Strofa 1 Sus fraților, sus la lucru, (Rise, brothers, rise to work,) Văzând lumea în necaz! (Seeing the world in distress!) Căci cu-amăgire satana (For through deception Satan) Pe mulți îi ține legați. (Keeps many people bound.)

Refren Sus fraților nu zăbovim, (Rise, brothers, let us not delay;) Vestim știința a lui Isus, (Let us proclaim the teaching of Jesus.) Care-a fost aici credincios, (Whoever has been faithful here) Va-avea coroană-n cer sus. (Will have a crown in heaven above.)

Strofa 2 Să semănăm cu credință (Let us sow faithfully) Sămânța Sfintei Scripturi! (The seed of Holy Scripture!) Sălta-vom de bucurie, (We will leap for joy) Când vom aduce snopuri. (When we bring in the sheaves.)

Strofa 3 Vedeți beția cât strică (See how drunkenness causes harm) Totundenea-n țara-asta. (Everywhere in this country.) Primejdia e aproape; (The danger is close;) Grăbiți în lucru a sta. (Hurry to take up the work.)

Strofa 4 Nu-i ușurință acolo, (There is no ease) Unde-i voie de-a lucra, (Where there is a will to work.) Ochii spre-Acela privească, (Let our eyes look to the One) Cel ce putere ne-a da. (Who will give us strength.)
