Strofa 1 1. Mă-ncred în El, orice s-ar întâmpla, (I trust in Him, whatever may happen) Pe drumul meu sau în viaţa mea; (Upon my path or in my life;) Fie ce-o fi, în orice zi, (Come what may, on any day,) Cerescul Tată m-a călăuzi. (The heavenly Father will guide me.)

Refren R: Mă-ncred în El, El ştie soarta mea, (I trust in Him; He knows my fate,) Pe stâncă sus sau în adânc de văi, (High upon the rock or deep within the valleys.) Lovit de val, ajung la mal, (Struck by the waves, I reach the shore;) Cerescul Tată m-a călăuzi. (The heavenly Father will guide me.)

Strofa 2 2. Mă-ncred în El, oriunde aş fi dus, (I trust in Him, wherever I may be led,) Chiar în cuptor de foc de aş fi pus, (Even if I am put into a fiery furnace;) În suferinţi şi-n bucurii, (In suffering and in joy,) Cerescul Tată m-a călăuzi. (The heavenly Father will guide me.)

Strofa 3 3. Mă-ncred în El, chiar şi când nu-nţeleg, (I trust in Him even when I do not understand;) Eu, voia Lui întotdeauna-aleg, (I always choose His will,) Căci doar aşa, în slava Sa, (For only in this way, into His glory,) Cerescul Tată m-a călăuzi. (The heavenly Father will guide me.)
