Refren El cu mine umblă și-mi vorbește, (He walks with me and speaks to me,) Căci de acum eu al Lui sunt; (For now I belong to Him;) Așa bucuria noastră crește— (Thus our joy grows—) Pe care alții n’o simt. (A joy that others do not feel.)

Strofa 2 Vocea lui, când El vorbește, (His voice, when He speaks,) E ascultată și de păsări, (Is heard even by the birds,) Iar în a mea inimă trezește (And in my heart it awakens) Multe glasuri de cântări. (Many voices singing.)
