#10 - Dacă ne-adunăm în Domnul

Strofa 1 1. Dacă ne-adunăm în Domnul, dac-avem al Lui Duh Sfânt, (If we gather in the Lord, if we have His Holy Spirit,) dacă inimile noastre una-n părtășie sunt, (If our hearts are one in fellowship,) dac-avem a Lui iubire, dac-avem a Lui sfânt țel, (If we have His love, if we share His holy purpose,) atunci orișicând ne strângem, este între noi și El. (Then whenever we gather, He too is among us.)

Strofa 2 2. Atunci Tatăl ne ascultă tot ce-I cerem fericit, (Then the Father hears all that we joyfully ask of Him;) atunci Fiul ne-nsoțește prin Cuvântul Lui sfințit, (Then the Son accompanies us through His holy Word;) atunci Duhul ne îndrumă în tot lucrul Său deplin, (Then the Spirit guides us fully in all His work,) și-ntre noi se vede rodul mult și dulce și divin. (And among us the abundant, sweet, divine fruit can be seen.)

Strofa 3 3. Dar când fără unitate și iubire ne-adunăm, (But when we gather without unity and love,) când nici dor, nici părtășie nu avem și nu căutăm, (When we neither have nor seek longing and fellowship,) când trăim păcate-ascunse, când ni-e gândul mânios, (When we live in hidden sins, when our thoughts are angry,) atunci în zadar ne strângem, ne-adunăm fără Hristos. (Then we gather in vain; we gather without Christ.)

Strofa 4 4. Dumnezeule ai milă, nu lăsa-ntre noi nicicând (God, have mercy; never let there be among us) lipsa Ta și nelucrarea Duhului Ceresc și Blând (Your absence or the inactivity of the heavenly, gentle Spirit.) nu lăsa-ntâlnirea noastră fără dragoste și har, (Do not let our gathering be without love and grace,) ca să nu ne fie lupta și-alergarea în zadar. (So that our struggle and our race may not be in vain.)
