#47 - Când umblăm cu Domnul

Strofa 1 Când umblăm cu Domnul (When we walk with the Lord) Și-ascultăm cuvântul, (And listen to His word,) Cât de glorioasă ni-e calea; (How glorious our path is;) Cât timp L-om asculta (As long as we listen to Him,) Cu noi va rămânea, (He will remain with us,) Și cu toți cei ce fac voia Sa. (And with all who do His will.)

Strofa 2 Când nori se ridică, (When clouds arise,) Calea ne ’ntunecă, (Darkening our path,) El, cu a Sa față senină, (He, with His serene face,) Frica și durerea (Takes away fear and pain) Și nemângâierea (And sorrow,) Le ia și calea ne lumină. (And lights our way.)

Strofa 3 Sarcina ce-o purtăm, (The burden that we carry,) Durerea ce-o răbdăm— (The pain that we endure—) La toate pe Isus îl avem (In all things we have Jesus) Ca al nost ajutor (As our helper) Și bun mângâietor— (And good comforter—) Atât timp cât în El ne ’ncredem. (As long as we trust in Him.)

Strofa 4 A plăti Domnului (To repay the Lord) Pentru iubirea Lui, (For His love,) Noi nici când pe deplin nu putem, (We can never fully do,) Până pe-al Său altar (Until upon His altar) Nu ne dăm Lui ca dar (We give ourselves to Him as a gift) Și ’ntru toate ’n El să ne ’ncredem. (And trust in Him in everything.)

(If we obey Him in all things.)
